On behalf of all the IFA officers, we want to thank everyone for coming to The 2007 IFA Summer Picnic & Raffle. It was a terrific event, with perhaps the best attendance ever.

The event was was both entertaining and educational, including: special presentations from guest speakers Gary Brewer (Texas Falconer, author and squirrel-hawking pioneer) —John Castrale, Indiana DNR Biologist—Craig Hendee, Officer, Wild Raptor Take Conservancy — and a lunch-time musical performance by singer/guitarist Jeff Powell.

Falconers from Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio enjoyed special camaraderie, good food, door prizes, vendor sales tables and a great raffle. It was also a special treat to visit with falconers from Germany and Italy. The monitored weathering yard showcased some beautiful falconry birds eager for the new season to begin.

A big thanks to our raffle donors, all who attended and all who help make the 2007 IFA Summer Picnic & Raffle one of the best events ever!
